Meet the Staff

Natalia Silvani- Director

Natalia Silvani is a Houston native artist. She professional dancer, actor, and choreographer. She began her dance training at Woodrow Wilson Elementary where she was offered a scholarship to the Houston Ballet Academy in 2002. She was given the opportunity to perform in Houston Ballet's "Nutcracker" during her time there. While maintaining her scholarship at Houston Ballet, she held an officer position in 2002 on the dance team at Roosevelt Elementary. With her knowledge in both codified and non codified dancing, she was able to earn a spot on the hip hop youth company for Planet Funk. She prepared for high school auditions by training with D3 Elite formerly known as The Dancing Divas and Dawns , where she held a captain position for 10 years. She furthered her training in 2009 by attending the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. From there she was able to acquire a spot with the Houston Met Youth Pre-Professional Program and train at The Debbie Allen Houston location. She began her dance teaching career in 2012 teaching the training team of D3 Elite. In 2014 and a Freshman in college, she became the head coach of the elementary and middle school teams for D3 Elite known as D3 Minis and Sparkettes. She danced on the collegiate level at Stephen F. Austin State University under Heather Samuelson as well as Sam Houston State University. During her college years, she performer in "Swan Lake" as a court dance with The Gobel School of Dance under Katie Parr. In 2016, she became the Artistic Director of D3 Elite Dance.

Meet the Instructors

Jasmine Burns

Jasmine Burns is a dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist. Following her graduation in May 2020 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Colorado State University, Jasmine was offered a company position with Flatlands Dance Theatre, invited to the 2020 Lula Washington Dance Company Apprentice Training Program on scholarship, and was invited to dance with Impact Dance Company as a guest artist. Now based in Houston, Texas, Jasmine is continuing her dance journey with a focus in sharing her
passion and love for dance with her students. Jasmine has been a part of the D3 Elite family as a ballet instructor for the past two seasons, and she looks forward to her continued work with their talented and passionate group of young dancers and coaches.

Celeste Powell

Celeste Powell is a Houston metropolitan local. She grew up in the small town of Freeport,TX. She attended Brazosport High School and danced for the Brazosport High School Shipmate Dance team. She held the positions of social officer Vice President, Junior Lieutenant, and Captain. Throughout her education she was awarded Kick Academy and Dance academy for HTE dance camps. After leaving Brazosport High School she received a scholarship to Cisco College. While apart the Wrangler Belles Dance team she was held the position Commander. She had the opportunity to dance for the Nashville children Christmas parade. She is excited to be shaping the hearts and minds of young dancers today.
